Furthermore, by monitoring air quality and ensuring proper lighting, these systems support user health. Clean indoor air and the use of natural light positively affect well-being and even sleep patterns. ### 3. The most innovative proptech solutions in the smart office space are continuously evolving, aiming to improve workplace experience, optimize building operations, and support sustainability. In recent years, many of these innovations have been presented at international conferences. At events like Proptech Connect London and more than 10 other global conferences, our experts have gained a holistic view of the industry’s development. Several innovative technologies have received special attention in the smart office sector, focusing on improving workplace experience, optimizing space usage, and achieving sustainability goals. One of the newest developments is the **“street-to-seat” concept**, which offers digital access technologies for touchless entry. With this solution, employees can seamlessly access the building and their workstation using entry cards integrated into Apple Wallet. This not only enhances convenience but also strengthens office community connections and user experience – as well illustrated by Getequiem’s solution. Another key trend is the use of occupancy sensors and analytics systems that monitor office space usage in real time. Based on this data, operators can optimize resource utilization, promoting sustainability by reducing energy waste in unused spaces. Companies like **Afreespace** are leading in this area, among many similar software providers. Air quality monitoring and regulation also receive special focus, with solutions like **Butterfly-Air** presenting multiple innovations in this field. Sustainability, operational efficiency, and user experience are all crucial pillars of human-centered smart building design. These technologies combine comfort with environmental awareness, fostering more livable and sustainable workplaces. Looking ahead, energy storage is becoming just as important as energy production, especially in relation to electric vehicle charging. This trend is particularly visible in international proptech startup competitions, where nearly every second solution addresses this issue (e.g., **Exergio, SundayPower, WarmingSurfaces**).
