The Proptech Hungary Conference was held for the fourth time, but with a new vision, a new background, and a lot of new energy. Much has changed in recent times, with the spread of digitalization intensifying in the post-COVID period, but the focus in 2023 was on the energy crisis. Things are starting to settle down a bit, but a lot hasn't changed, and time, efficiency, and measurability have become more important.

The digital transformation of the real estate market started earlier, with more and more smart devices being built into properties and community services (offices, parking lots, work desks), and more and more companies are designing in BIM and equipping their properties with various IoT devices, all of which are steering us towards measurability and efficiency.

The conference featured international speakers, proptech influencers, and Hungarian market experts. The event included presentations in English and Hungarian, with simultaneous interpreters helping to ensure perfect understanding.

When a market is undergoing change, digital solutions become more valuable, and measurability, monitoring of ESG criteria, controllability of energy systems, use of real-time visual data boards, and people within the organization who understand how to interpret this data become essential.

However, digitalization does not mean that we start using Proptech companies and solutions, but rather a development process, a holistic change of perspective, in which the entire organization must be changed, starting with the individual.
