The main theme of this year’s event was the smart city concept. We have reached the point where digitalization and the conscious use of digital tools and data already exist in isolated cases — for individual buildings, developments, or factory halls. However, the greatest opportunity lies in connecting these elements, both along the entire development lifecycle and at a local, urban scale. The convergence of proptech, contech, and smart cities is one of the most exciting and timely challenges in the real estate market. Digitalization not only enables more efficient operation of individual buildings but can also revolutionize resource management at the city level. The question is no longer whether digitalization is needed, but how it can be applied as a strategic tool to support the sustainable development of the built environment. - **Data-driven urban development**: How can big data and AI be used to optimize energy efficiency, transportation, and resource distribution? - **Proptech solutions for real estate**: smart buildings, sensor-based property management, and the role of digital twins in design and operation. - **Contech and construction innovations**: BIM, robotics, and modular construction technologies accelerating the development of urban infrastructure. - **Energy efficiency through digital tools**: How IoT, smart grids, and AI can help optimize energy use and redistribute waste heat. - **Urban mapping and digital modeling**: Dynamic visualization of property usage data and energy demand for more efficient urban planning. Digitalization and innovation are no longer just competitive advantages — they are matters of business survival in the real estate market. During the event, we presented the latest proptech and contech solutions and helped foster strategic thinking that will shape the cities of the future. ### 266 participants ### 67 speakers ### 48 programs ![Proptech-Hungary-konf-2025-0125\[1\]](https://proptech.hu/hubfs/Proptech-Hungary-konf-2025-0125%5B1%5D.jpg) ### Technology that makes cities greener and smarter There are very strong arguments in favor of real estate market digitization and greater transparency: they increase efficiency, revenue, and profits, free up resources, help outperform competitors, and enable the hiring of better colleagues. In addition, from a regulatory perspective, ESG and, from a social perspective, the demand for a “green future” are pushing the entire organization towards a higher level of digitization.  Our platform helps with digitalization: we connect real estate market players, those who are just interested in digitalization, and those who are already involved: users, solution providers, developers, and startups. ## Our speakers were ### [![eloado-Anders Kallebo Myrspoven Why was it different? It was fresh. It was full of content where the speakers didn't promote themselves or their products, but shared ideas that inspired. It opened up new perspectives and was incredibly supportive and positive. Then I met Zoltan Kalmar, now known as Zoli. I realized that he was the reason behind the conference. He selects the speakers, and his innovative spirit permeates the whole event. I decided to help him. What came of it? I think something quite extraordinary! Csaba Livják CEO, Founder @BuildEXT Incredible hospitality, the amazing venue, the fantastic organisation of the event, and of course the amazing presentations and panel discussions that day really helped cement this event as one of the best events that I have ever attended. I won't forget any time soon, nor will I forget the people I met and connected with. Andrew Gamblen AEC Specialist @Dalux Proptech Hungary has always been a special occasion for us, because Zoli is not just organizing an event, but building a community, connecting those who truly care about the relationship between buildings and technology. Since 2018 we have participated every year, as it gives us the opportunity to showcase our latest innovations to the professional audience while also strengthening the human connections that are often even more important than technology itself. Zsolt Somogyi CEO @Parkl ## Do you have any questions?
